On Tuesday 20 November, the final presentations of the Development i-Teams was held at the Aurora Innovation Centre at the British Antarctic Survey. This term’s teams addressed questions of route-to-market and available funding for using new technologies in the developing world, as well as identifying the best countries to work in. This term’s projects included:
- Assessing the viability of a device for improving patient adherence to medication regimes in the developing world.
- Investigating the need for blockchain technology in developing economies
- Developing antimicrobial ointments and wound dressings for the developing world.
