Cambridge International Development Conference: Faces of Equality

CGE’s Student Society hosted the twelfth CamIDC  2019 on Saturday 2 March. With over one-hundred attendees, the conference was a great success. Baroness Caroline Cox , founder of the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust spoke about working in war zones and Harriet Lamb, CEO of International Alert spoke on peace and advocacy. Leah Moss, Policy and Advocacy Officer at Plan International, Amika George, Founder of Free Periods Campaign and Hibo Wardere, one of Britain’s most prominent anti-FGM campaigners discussed ‘Women in Equality’.
