In December, makers at the BIT Maker Space in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia, participated in a 3D printer building workshop. CGE is partnering with the Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (BIT) and the BIT Business Incubation and Technology Entrepreneurship Centre for the Maker Space project. In March 2020, in collaboration with Nairobi Maker Space we will be launching a Health Makerthon at the Maker Space to encourage the evolution of context-appropriate health-focused technologies.
