Bridges for Enterprise (BfE) empowers early-stage social entrepreneurs to scale their ventures and expand their impact. Founded in 2015 at the University of Cambridge, BfE is a non-profit organisation home to a global community of purpose-driven professionals and students that provide pro bono advisory services to social innovators in the developing world. They do this by operating a multi-stage, virtual, 6-8 month Incubation Programme with two cohorts of startups per year.
Their bespoke programming is holistic in nature and designed to position startups for long-term financial sustainability. Once accepted, BfE startups will undergo two successive 3-4 month engagements in consulting and finance advisory, with optional legal and technical advisory services available upon request. Since inception, BfE’s global network of student-led chapters have collectively supported over 100 social enterprises from Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East on their journey to advance the UN SDGs and create positive impact for their beneficiaries.
